YAPP! Yet Another Photo Puzzle

Another early game that I created using Phaser, an HTML5 cross-browser framework.  It works on both desktop browser and mobile browser.

The puzzle starts with the completed image appearing briefly to let players have an idea what it is they are trying to put back together.

Then a scrambled version appears.

When a tile is selected,  rotational direction buttons are presented in a HUD (heads up display) style. The button panel appears either above or below to prevent overlapping the active tile.

A color tint is used to distinguish active and misplaced tiles from those in correct position and orientation.

Alas, I can't help but feel that the color tint causes for a dull user interface experience.  I need to explore other options when I revisit this project.
